Club de Jazz (Av. Alessandri 85, Santiago) – this is not just any jazz club in Santiago. This venue has existed since 1943, which has since attracted some big names in the jazz world, such as Louis Armstrong, Elvin Jones, Wynton Marsalis, James Moody, Paquito D’Rivera, Herbie Hancock, Pat O’Leary, Lew Tabackin, and Billy Cobham, among others. Nowadays, live music is played from Wednesday to Saturday night – ranging from Ragtime, to Swing, Dixieland, Bebop, Cool Jazz, Free Jazz, Blues, Jazz Fusion and Latin Jazz.
