Titanium La Portada
Titanium La Portada (Av El Bosque Norte 500, Las Condes, Santiago) — located in the capital’s high-end financial district of El Golf, it is the second tallest skyscraper in the country. It was completed in 2010. Abraham Senerman and Andrés Weil were the Titanium’s architects, who chose its futuristic look. At a height of 140 meters (52 floors), it is one of the tallest buildings in Latin America. It has two heliports, and is reinforced with 65 concrete & steel pylons (so that it can withstand an earthquake of 9.0 on the Richter scale). This explained the minor damage it incurred during the February 2010 earthquake in Santiago.
